متطلبات العمل:
- Diploma in plumbing , electricity , welding or another sector ; applicant with diploma and freshly graduated with no experience will be considered
- If no diploma or lower diploma in this areas equivalent of 6 month to 1 year experience in welding and small maintenance , electrical network or civil work
- Previous NGO experience would be a plus
- At ease with handling of welding and another maintenance tools such as grinder machine
- Must be able to read drawings and technical manuals
- Experience in solar panel and generator maintenance is a plus
- Knowledge of context of informal settlement in Raqqa governorate appreciated
- A proactive person is required for this position
- English (Written – Spoken) is a plus
- Autonomy is a plus
الوصف الوظيفي:
Under the supervision of the Sanitation supervisor , the technician will implement the work in WASH Infrastructure of Solidarites International and especially maintenance of WASH infrastructures, respecting deadlines and technical requirements.
List of main tasks:
Implementation of technical work and maintenance
o Participate in assessment for maintenance when required
o Carry out small water connection and plumbing
o Carry out electrical work especially maintenance of solar panels
o Performing welding for maintenance of SI WASH infrastructure
o Carry out some small works such as concrete work, connection of toilet to the pit (list non-exhaustive)
o Supervise daily workers when necessary
o Comply with the technical instructions of his managers, user’s manual and/or drawings
o Comply with deadlines established by the Sanitation supervisor
Stock management / Management of the tools and equipment in the field / Quality check
o Contribute to set technical specifications for materials and equipment for maintenance of SI WASH infrastructures and small works
o Participate to check the quality of material and equipment for maintenance at the reception
o Prepare out of stock request when needed for maintenance and WASH infrastructure work
o Check the stock status of maintenance materials and anticipate need of purchase
o Anticipate on needs of maintenance of the equipment especially generator and welding machine and ask all necessary items
o Anticipate any problem associated with the carrying out of the activity and inform his manager
o Respect safety measures given by his manager for each activity
Reporting/communication /representation
o Report to his/her manager regarding the development of activities and specific tasks that he/she has been assigned, any problems encountered and the quality of relations with the beneficiaries
o Fill completion of work report and donation certificate and donation report when required
o Report back all information or problems linked to his/her activity, Solidarités International programs or safety issues to the supervisor
o Listen to the local population and authorities in order to identify any need, complaint, or major event which could affect the activities of Solidarités International
