متطلبات العمل:

Education:

 Diploma/high school in community development, economics, business or related subjects.

Experience and technical competencies:

 Minimum 2 years of professional experience implementing livelihoods activities, particularly cash for work, vocational skills and enterprise development.

 Experience working on inclusion of persons with disabilities preferred.

 Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

 Self-motivated, proactive, quick learner and excellent team worker.

 Good communicator in working with local communities, local NGOs and local authorities.

 Ability and willingness to maintain regular presence at project sites.

Previous experience with the organization, other international or local organizations

Languages:

 Fluent Arabic reading, writing and speaking.

 English is an asset.

We offer

We will offer the successful applicant a six months’ contract, renewable dependent on both funding and performance.

and be willing and able to work in Raqqa City, with frequent travels in Raqqa Governorate.

Salary and conditions will be in accordance with the organization Terms and Conditions of Employment.

الوصف الوظيفي:

 Assist and support Livelihoods officer and Manager in the planning, implementation and monitoring of livelihoods interventions – cash for work, vocational skills and micro-and –small enterprises – in North East Syria and Raqqa in particular.

 Facilitate appropriate community involvement in the design and delivery of livelihood activities (local leaders, local authorities and local communities).

 Work with the local committees/steering committees to facilitate beneficiary identification and registration process. Assist planning as well as conducting beneficiary registrations and verifications.  Play an important role in realization of livelihood outcomes through timely implementation of livelihood activities.

 Mentor trainees of vocational skills training with marketable skills and arrange internship opportunities for trainees/graduates of vocational trainings .

 Develop monthly visit plans on monitoring and following up cash for work, vocational trainee/graduates and micro-and-small businesses development in coordination with Livelihood Officer .

 Assist Inclusion Worker/Officer to ensure that people with disabilities are included and participated in the livelihood interventions .

 Participate and contribute to data collection, post-distribution monitorings and project evaluation .

 Conduct regular monitoring of livelihood activities and report findings/results to Project Officer and Manager.

 Contribute to capacity building of local groups, associations, businesses and other local stakeholders.

 Maintain effective coordination and relationships with local stakeholders, including local authorities, CBOs, committees and other NGOs in coordination with Officer and Manager.

 Assist Livelihood Manager and Technical Coordinator in conducting market and livelihood assessments.  Ensure regular collection of best stories and lessons learned on livelihoods .  Provide weekly reports to Livelihoods Officer and Manager.

 Provide administrative and/or technical support to Officer and Manager .
