Job Requirements:
Education:
- B.Sc. in Civil Engineering.
Experience:
- 3 years working experience in engineering.
Skills/Competencies:
- Fluency in English and Arabic languages.
- Good experience in the usage of computers skills and office software packages (word, AutoCAD, Excel, and outlook).
- Knowledge of the practical applications of civil engineering science.
- Ability to solve daily problems, interpreting a variety of instructions and demonstrating good teambuilding skills.
Job Description:
Assistant of the Camp Manger in coordinating Shelter and WASH sectors with partners working in the camp, by attending shelter, WASH coordination meetings, and other ad hoc coordination meetings, and following up with the partners’ plans and updates.
The focal point for shelter and WASH in coordination with the camp manager.
Assist in the preparation and submission of all weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports related to the Shelter and WASH sector being submitted to the Camp Manager.
Assessing civil works for different projects.
Preparing specifications, drawings, and bill of quantities.
Close supervision for implementation of the engineering works.
Analyzing and resolving work problems.
Preparing progress report, expected completion dates, and payment documents regarding the civil works.
Preparing variation orders if any.
Attending regular Senior Staff meetings when required by the line manager.
Regular visit to the project sites to ensure quality of the implemented works and coordinate with M&E and QA/QC staff for any raised/found issues.
Weekly reports for Blumont activities within the operations area.
Guidance and coordination with field monitoring and technician staffs to follow-up and find appropriate solutions for daily problems.
Any other duties.
Follow up the maintenance activities which is implemented by Blumont and the other actors in the camp, also guidance the technician team inside and outside the camp for operating the networks such as (water network, electricity network …etc.)
