Job Requirements:

  • At least 3 years of HR experience, out of them at least 1 year of experience in HR Department.
  • 1 year previous experience in an INGO.
  • University degree on social studies or any relevant filed. Any HR previous training will be an asset.
  • Demonstrated experience in implementing HR policies, procedures and systems.
  • Excellent command of spoken and written English and Arabic.
  • Demonstrated excellent computer literacy (Excel, word, internet).
  • Ability to prioritize and deal with competing demands.
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills.
  • This position demands a dynamic individual with a demonstrated ability to achieve results in a demanding and fast paced environment.
  • A team builder with excellent people skills; culturally sensitive.

Job Description:

  1. Recruitment in Syria
  • Work on Recruitment process from A to Z for both Direct and Indirect staff.
  • Participate in the interviews and ensure transparency in the process.
  • Organize and ensure Orientation for new comers are completed.
  • Follow up the onboarding program for new joiners,
  • Make sure all new joiners have done their mandatory trainings during the first week of joining.
  • Make sure all leavers have done the exit properly according to our policies.
  • Conduct field visits regularly.
  • Follow up the performance management with employees and supervisors.
  • Make sure all documents transferred the main officer an a monthly basis.
  • Upload all documents to the Box regularly with no missing.
  • Follow up staff grievances and make sure all staff aware about how to raise their complaints.
  • Other duties assigned by supervisor
  1. Compensation and benefits:
  • In collaboration with the Programs and Finance Departments, support in prepare indirect staff payroll for NES indirect staff, by the follow up of leave records and timesheets.
  • Coordination and share of all needed documentation (such as time sheets, leave records, etc.) with the Finance Department for duly preparation of monthly payroll.
  1. Employee Relations
  • Timely processing of new contract, contract extension, staff transfer, promotions, and other change of status.
  1. Technical management of Human Resources:
  • Build the capacity of the HR Assistant by identifying learning needs and developing a plan of action to address the learning needs Identify HR needs, training needs, and support in the delivery of training objectives
