Job Requirements:
Considerable practical experience of Static Guarding responsibilities in the region
Former Police or Military service
Previous experience working in international non-governmental organization is preferred.
Ability to interact effectively with international and national personnel.
Ability to work well in a small team, operate under pressure, priorities and deliver high quality work within deadlines, and meet team objectives.
Ability to provide honorable discharge papers if a previous member of Armed Forces or Police Service.
Job Description:
The Guard team will be responsible for controlling access to the compound via ID checks for personnel and vehicle searches for cars at the main gate and iMMAP office location.
The Guard are responsible for providing early warning for threat or emergencies to compound staff.
The Guard are responsible for providing armed protection and response to aggressive activity in line with the Rules for the Use of Force (RUF) and applicable Graduated Use of Force (GUF) as detailed in the Security SOP’s.
The Guard are to provide quick reaction response to Emergency situations such as Firefighting, casualty extraction and trespassing in line with the security SOP’s.
The Guard will coordinate with the Country Security Advisor to confirm staff movements, vehicle access and any concerns at the start and end of each shift.
The Guard will maintain a high level of professionalism by conducting regular training on weapon handling, RUF, Medical and emergency response with details being maintained by the CSA.
The Guard will perform other duties as assigned by the compound management team.
