Job Requirements:
Education:
- B.Sc. in Civil Engineering.
Experience:
- 3 years working experience in engineering.
Skills/Competencies:
- Fluency in English and Arabic languages.
- Good experience in the usage of computers skills and office software packages (word, AutoCAD, Excel, and outlook).
- Knowledge of the practical applications of civil engineering science.
- Ability to solve daily problems, interpreting a variety of instructions and demonstrating good teambuilding skills.

Job Description:
Assessing civil works for different projects.
Preparing specifications, drawings, and bill of quantities.
Close supervision for implementation of the engineering works.
Analyzing and resolving work problems.
Preparing progress report, expected completion dates, and payment documents regarding the civil works.
Preparing variation orders if any.
Regular visit to the project sites to ensure quality of the implemented works and coordinate with M&E and QA/QC staff for any raised/found issues.
Guidance and coordination with Field and technician staffs to follow-up and find appropriate solutions for daily problems.
Follow up the maintenance activities which is implemented by Blumont and the other actors in the camp, also guidance the technician team inside and outside the camp for operating the networks such as (water network, electricity network …etc.)
Identifying gaps in wash and shelter and share it with Camp Manager and stakeholders.
Monitoring the services of other actors, and report in case any shortage.
Follow up the required needed assessment for UN agencies and working groups.
Working on developing the standards of Al-Hol camp based on the situation on the ground.
Following up and updating the 4WS of wash and shelter.
Following up and referring the complaints from residents to concerned service providers.
Participating in preparing and updating the weekly report as directed.
Participating in preparing and updating the monthly and quarterly reports as directed and monitoring the progress of program indicators and related to WASH and Shelter.
Attending and representing Blumont in Wash, Shelter and coordination meetings.
Following up and coordinating with UN and WASH WG on Blumont’s plans and projects.
