Key Experience/ Competencies
- 1-2 years’ experience as a MEAL Officer strongly desirable.
- Good eye for detail.
- Experienced in data analysis and Microsoft excel.
- Fluency in English and excellent communication skills.
- Willingness to engage with beneficiaries in a polite/respectful manner
- Team-player and keen to learn new skills and take on additional responsibilities.
- Willingness to travel/work in Health Facilities across different governorates in Syria.
Job Description:
List of tasks assigned:
MEAL Officer/Assistant works in collaboration and under the supervision of the MEAL Manager.
- Prepare all the necessary M&E forms and formats to collect necessary data and information from the field.
- Design and adapt the required databases for the data entry and keep track of the filing documents
- Be responsible to collect, compile, check, sort and analyze qualitative and quantitative data about ongoing field activities according to the reporting guidelines at provincial level
- Work closely with the Project Manager/Officer assessing the performance of the Reporting and M&E Systems
- Develop the appropriate and suitable monitoring and reporting tools for the program
- Conduct the training for field level staff on M&E management tools
- Conduct regular field visits and provide full feedbacks to the field staff on the M&E System
- Assist the training section by providing monitoring indicators of the training
- Provide inputs in the development of the overall monitoring and reporting system of the program as per programmed log-frame
- Update and maintain UPP database regularly
- Receive on time reports from the field and forward the reports in the designed format to UPP Office
- Conduct regular field visits and provide full feedback to field staff on the reporting
- Assist in the design of a comprehensive reporting system across the program
- Provide inputs on the development of the overall monitoring and reporting system of the program as per program log-frame
- Liaise with local partner on tools and needs
- Support the monthly and ad-hoc reporting to LEARN consortium
- Perform other duties as it may be required and assigned by the higher authority

Salary scale: from 800 USD to 1200 USD according to experience
