Job Title: Information Management Officer – Al Hassakeh

Job Requirements:
Generic professional competencies:
- Experience from working in a humanitarian/recovery context.
- Previous experience from working in complex and volatile contexts.
- At least 2 years of experience in Information Managements (including, database design and management) preferably with humanitarian organizations / NGOs.
- Documented results related to the position’s responsibilities.
- Good experience in data presentation/visualization using charts.
- Good in written and spoken English and Arabic.
Context/ Specific skills, knowledge and experience:
- Experience with data management techniques;
- Understanding of key privacy and information management ethical concerns and ability to manage information management activities within ethical guidelines;
- Experience with mobile data capture desired;
- Strong knowledge of MS office package, mainly Excel and Access.

How to
Job Description:
- Support the formulation of the M&E Matrix and plan to address indicator reporting requirements;
- Contribute to the development and improvement of programme’s tools to address IM needs;
- Responsible for technical design of data capture processes to ensure they are implemented according to plans and agreed standards;
- Provide analysis of information and data to address indicator reporting requirements;
- Maintain files, data bases, and other archives documenting project progress;
- Provide training and support to ORG staff on data capture, analysis, and use;
- Maintain the LFS specific portion of data capture, analysis, and warehousing platforms (e.g. Mobenzi and BOX) is well-organized and accessible;
- Managing the database on Mobenzi data collection system, conducting repairs, updates and improvements as required;
- To report daily/weekly activity progress as required to the Project Manager;
- Accountable for data collection, data entry, analysis and overall data quality and verification of project reports/activities implemented;
- Ensure compliance with ORG data polices;
- Conduct regular trainings to enumerators atom prove the quality of the data being collected;
- Support the analysis and visualization of program data needed for different reporting;
- To undertake community/field visits with field staff when needed;
- In collaboration with the Project manager support the team learning and reflection meetings for LFS programming.
- Any other tasks delegated by the Project Manager.
