Job Requirements:

At least 2 years of work experience, including experience in data management, information technology or any other related field is a must. Bachelor’s degree is required, Master’s preferred. Knowledge of qualitative and quantitative data collection and analysis methods. Excellent skills in Excel are a must; knowledge of data collection and mapping tools is a plus. Demonstrated attention to details, ability to follow procedures, meet deadlines and work independently and cooperatively with team members is required. Demonstrated skills in planning, organizing, analyzing and reporting. Demonstrate capacity and willingness to work on several tasks simultaneously independently and in a team. Ability to interact effectively with international and national personnel, as well as with project partners and community members. Understanding of the humanitarian coordination architecture and the relevant basic information collection and management tasks. Excellent in written and spoken English, Arabic and Kurdish, good writing and reporting skills.   

Job Description:

Collect and consolidate data from NES NGO partners, prepare and submit reports on regular basis following the NES FORUM data sharing protocols and already established IM systems, such as the NES Forum monthly 4W reporting. Manage, analyze, document data and information from humanitarian interventions in NES. Map assistance coverage in NES, analyze and report the potential gaps in close cooperation with the IM Senior Officer and IM Analyst and the Inter Sector Working Group (ISWG) Coordinator. Provide orientation and technical assistance as well as IM capacity building to partners and sectors on IM tools used by the NES Forum. Maintain NES Forum data bases, provide data entry if required (e.g. NES Forum assessments, etc.). Establish and maintain (including populating) the NES Forum documentation system (google drive) accessible for humanitarian partners working in NES.
