Job Description:
Organizing and arranging different stages of small Farmer crops and garden installation and maintenance. • Supervising the quality control on materials and works and verifying their compliance with specifications. • Determination of the types of fertilizer to be used, methods of giving, quantities and dates of addition. • Determining the type of insect and pathogenic infections of plants and the quality and concentration of the pesticides needed to combat them. • Design and oversee implementation of homestead vegetable gardens and small Farmer crops • Design and oversee implementation of agricultural structures, drip irrigation systems. • Organize training workshops for local people regarding farming basics and techniques. • Provide technical support in writing documents including reports, memos, and e-mails. • Assist with data collection efforts • Monitor program quality and assist in utilizing appropriate monitoring tools. • Develop relevant program materials and documents. • Coordinate with other Blumont staff through regular meetings. • Submit regular reports to supervisor. • Any other program related duties to ensure program success
