Job Requirements:
University degree in Education.
Former NGO work experience is required.
Knowledge of Education in Emergencies, INEE minimum standards, Child Protection and Prevention of Gender Based Violence minimum standards.
Excellent training and facilitation skills.
Knowledge of basic principles of teaching, positive discipline, children’s development and learning.
Experience in working with children, in social work and outreach activities, including psychosocial support and social emotional learning.
Excellent interpersonal, nonviolent communication and listening skills.
Motivation and energy, pro-active and willing to share and discuss ideas.
Commitment to humanitarian principles and values.
Commitment to Concern equal opportunity and gender practices.
Flexibility under pressure and in response to changing needs.
Ability to maintain the highest degree of discretion.
Good computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint).
English language
Job Description:
Coordinate with the local education committees in Raqqa and Tabqa and the schools administration on the delivery schedule of the teachers in Crisis context training.
Prepare all training materials including trainers and teachers kits that will be used during the TiCC teacher trainings.
Lead and deliver training sessions to formal schoolteachers in 16 rehabilitated schools in Raqqa and Tabqa on Teachers in crisis context and teachers preparedness ensuring the recording and follow up on teachers’ attendance.
Prepare and conduct pre and post-assessments for the teacher trainings.
Follow up on teaching outcomes ensuring additional mentoring sessions and teacher learning circles being conducted with formal school teachers
