Job Description:
To assure the security and safety of personnel and property at the INGO Warehouse or office to which assigned by the immediate supervisor, during all of the hours of working shift.
- In the event that no INGO personnel are present, to ensure that the Warehouse, office and compound remain secure against theft or damage and that persons who are not authorized do not enter the compound and /or remove any items.
- In the event of security problems, to assist fully in the security of the compound, office and Warehouse for safety of property and personnel and if necessary, to assist in the evacuation of personnel and property if directed by the immediate supervisor
- Protect organization’s property and staff by maintaining a safe and secure environment
- To insure that unauthorized personnel are not permitted to enter INGO building or compounds.
- Observe for signs of crime or disorder and investigate disturbances
- Act lawfully in direct defense of life or property
- Monitor CCTV and physical check on Safety & Security Equipment’s
- Apprehend criminals and evict violators
- To ensure that at all time the gates for persons and vehicles remain closed and bolted, except when allowing permitted persons or vehicles to enter the compound and that the gates are then immediately closed and bolted.
- Take accurate notes of unusual occurrences
- Report in detail any suspicious incidents
- Patrol randomly or regularly building and perimeter
- Monitor and control access at building entrances and vehicle gates
- Understand that staff security is the most integral part of INGO operations in North East Syria thereby immediate termination while found asleep during the duty hours.
- Perform first aid or CPR as required
- Any other duties and responsibilities as may be reasonably requested by the immediate supervisor.
