متطلبات العمل:

  • شهادة جامعية في العمل الإجتماعي والعلوم الإنسانية ( علم الإجتماع ، علم النفس ، الصحة العقلية أو الصحة العامة وغيرها من المجالات ذات الصلة )
  • سنتين على الأقل من الخبرة العملية. ويفضل العمل مع النساء والأطفال المتضررين من النزاع
  • خبرة في تقديم المشورة والتدريب على إدارة الحالات وتيسييرها
  • فهم قوي للمفاهيم الأساسية للدعم النفسي والإجتماعي والقدرة على الحفاظ على السرية
  • مهارات ممتازة في التواصل والتعامل بثقة مع الآخرين
  • التعامل بطريقة صادقة ومهنية مع الموضوعات الحساسة
  • كفاءة جيدة في الكمبيوتر ومعرفة وخبرة جيدة في برامج المايكروسوفت أوفيس
  • اتقان اللغة العربية – اللغة الكردية والإنكليزية ميزة اضافية.

الوصف الوظيفي:

سيقدم مسؤول الصحة النفسية الإجتماعية والعقلية الدعم المباشر والإشراف على مستشاري الصحة النفسية والدعم النفسي الاجتماعي في جميع مراكز الرعاية الصحية الأولية التابعة للمنظمة في محافظتي الحسكة ودير الزور ، وسيعمل عن كثب مع المسؤول الرئيسي للصحة النفسية الإجتماعية العقلية لضمان تنفيذ أنشطة الصحة النفسية بطريقة فعالة وسليمة والتوجيه وتسهيل جميع الاحتياجات في الميدان من خلال التنسيق الوثيق مع الفرق الإدارية والداعمة ، بالإضافة إلى تقديم الدعم الفني لمستشاري الصحة النفسية والدعم النفسي الاجتماعي والعاملين في صحة المجتمع فيما يتعلق بخطط الرعاية وجلسات التثقيف النفسي.

Job Requirements:         

  • Education: Academic qualification in social work, humanities, preferred background in psychology, mental health or public health
  • Work Experience: Two years of related program experience, preferably working with conflict-affected women and children
  • Experience with providing trainings on case management and counselling, as well as facilitation of TOT trainings
  • Demonstrated Skills and Competencies:

o Strong understanding of basic counseling and psychosocial support concepts; previous training and experience in these areas strongly preferred

o Demonstrated belief in gender equality and enthusiastic commitment to the safety and empowerment of women and children

o Comfortable speaking about sensitive topics in an honest, professional, and thoughtful manner

o Excellent communication skills and confident interpersonal interaction

o Ability to maintain confidentiality and respect for clients at all times

  • Language Skills: Fluency in Arabic mandatory. English and Kurdish preferred.
  • Good level in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

Job Overview/Summary

The Mental Health Officer will provide direct  support and supervise MHPSS Counselors in all  PHFs in Hassakah  and Dier Alzor governorates , Mental Health Officer will work closely with Mental Health Snr  Officer to ensure implementation of Mental Health   activitiesin an  effective and proper way in line  with MHGAP guidance  and facilitate all operational needs in the field through close coordination with administrative and operation teams ,in addition to provide  technical support to MHPSS counselors and Community Health Workers regarding to  care plans  and psychoeducation sessions

MHPSS Officer specific roles and responsibilities

Under supervision of  MHPSS Senior Officer and extended supervision of MHPSS Manager the  MHPSS Officer will  undertake following responsibilities :

  • Ensure implementation of the activities are in line with mission values and SOPs, relevant national/international standards, codes of conduct, and humanitarian principles
  • Provide administrative support to ensure that MHPSS program operations are maintained in an effective, up to date and accurate manner and communicate this accordingly e.g., activity calendar, training calendar and Movement Plans for MHPSS team members
  • raising field needs to Administrative Officers through monthly procurement plans
  • Conduct regular and Contribute to the development of the team’s capacity building plan and ensure its implementation with the MHPSS Senior Officer and Mental Health Manager
  • Monitor on going care plan development with special attention to safety issues and stabilizing the clients from the effects of  high risk  factors (domestic violence , suicide , self-harm …..)
  • Leading Conducting awareness sessions on several mental health and psychosocial support topicsby CHWs
  • The MHPSS Officer will liaise closely with the CP/WPE/PRoL Officers to ensure continuous feedback and coordination, including (where and if appropriate for the specific sector): case conferencing, action planning, and any additional follow-up, as needed.
  • Support and/or provide training for MHPSS Counselors, social/ case workers on the delivery of MHPSS curriculum, learning resources and tools and improve MHPSS Counselors , social workers’ counselling techniques and skills ,PFA ,  ensuring review and approval of all content from the relevant sector leads prior to commencing;
  • Support the MHPSS Seniors Officer , and MHPSS Manager in programme reporting, supervision of donor files and monitoring of activities
  • Ensure all client files are kept in safe, privet and appropriately way by regularly data audit
  • Attend Peer Support sessions with Senior MHPSS Officer and coordinate with him about topics and provide sessions when Senior Officer isn’t available.
  • Facilitate Protection clients’ access to mental health services.
  • Lead usual updating of Service Mapping by MHPSS counselors in the field
  • Participate in programme meetings for strategic planning and evaluation.

Administration

  • Coordinate with program managers and senior officers on MHPSS activity plans
  • Ensure that all regular standing meetings and sessions (weekly and monthly) keep to the same agreed time each week/month
  • Liaise with relevant program staff to organize the logistics for meetings, sessions, and trainings Coordination, Monitoring and Learning
  • Submit regular feedback report to the MHPSS Senior Officer and MHPSS Manager and Follow up on the MHPSS indicators
  • Ensure data related to case management and referrals are managed in a safe and ethical way; respecting Data Protection policy and case management principles
  • Support the training of developed materials for mental health messaging with MHPSS counselors, social worker, CHW and community mobiliser staff, and work closely with the protection teams
  • Ensure pre-and post-tests, and training evaluations are documented, analyzed and sent to training participant supervisors.
  • Coordinate closely with other sectors and organizations to ensure clients mental health and psychosocial needs are met as per the IASC guidelines
  • ensure strong coordination with other programs and NGOs for effective implementation of the internal and external referral pathway
  • Update and maintain training tracker for donor reporting.
