ACADEMIC QUALIFICATION:

  • Academic background: Master’s degree on social science, or other relevant fields.
  • Other qualifications: knowledge of surveys, assessments, and local context.
  • Language requirements: Arabic and/or Kurdish is mandatory. English writing will be additional value.
  • Computer requirements: knowledge of using Android phone (tablets), online data entry tools.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • At least 2 years field experience in humanitarian projects. At least 1 year experience in positions with similar responsibility in the concerned community of North East Syria.
  • Experience in project planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation.
  • Previous experience with health programming.
  • Demonstrable data collection, probing skills of both qualitative and quantitative studies.
  • Ability to work in volatile environments and strict compliance with security protocols
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to collect data in a user-friendly form.
  • The Applicant must be exclusively from Amuda.

الوصف الوظيفي:

SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITIES:

This incumbent will collect data at in the community and report to field managers (line manager) for overall management and technical tasks in close consultation with the Program coordinators and data officers. His/her tasks will be:

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Attend one day orientation session conducted in the respective base offices and Pre-test the data collection tools to check and ensure the contextualized and logical questionnaires.
  • Prepare and submit daily plans and progress to field managers and data officers. Further, share field learning on regular basis related to security, admin, programmatic etc.
  • Conduct Household interviews, Focus Group Discussions, and Key Informant Interviews in the community as per guidelines given in the orientation session.
  • Data entry of Household Interview in the tablets while FGDs and KIIs in hard file.
  • Submit the forms (hard and soft) to data officers on daily basis during the debrief sessions.
  • Attend the debrief session and support data officers in data cleaning and validation.
  • Strictly follow the survey protocols, security protocols and ethical considerations during field work.
  • Ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and proper storage / backup of data.
  • Responsible to take care of any assets provide by MdM.
