Job Requirements:
REQUIRED SKILLS
Good command of Kurdish and Arabic; basic knowledge of English are required
Good command of android phones (smartphones)
Good network/ connections of Key Informants across the Governorate
Good communication skills to be able to run interviews with Key Informants/FGDs/house Holds
Flexibility and adaptability are essential, as well as the ability to plan, take initiative and organize work independently.
A good network of key informants across Hasaka and or Deir AlZor Governorates is required for field/remote data collection
Desirable SKILLS
past experience conducting surveys and assessments
collecting, using GPS data, Excel/word user.
Job Description:
- Data Collection:
To collect data and information in the field through interviews of families, focus group discussions, field visits and surveys, in line with the REACH Assessment Methodology;
To ensure transparent, accurate and timely collection of quantitative and qualitative data and information;
To ensure a regular, effective and comprehensive transmission of information to supervisors
To cross-check information accuracy with the database entry;
To support geo-referencing of all surveys conducted in the field as required by the REACH Assessment Methodology.
- Reporting:
Providing regular reports to the Field Coordinators at frequent intervals on the progress of the implementation of the assessment activities and on relevant observations during the mission;
Reporting directly to Assessment Manager/Officers whenever requested
