Job Requirements:
Nurse, midwife or pharmacist (or equivalent) diploma or MD.
Minimum of two years professional experience in lead management implementing emergency response programs, preferably in a conflict setting.
English Mandatory and Arabic, too.
Strong English writing skills required.

Excellent interpersonal, communication, public speaking, and strategic planning skills required;

Job Description:
Provide technical guidance and support to the health facilities staff, M&E and program staff to effectively integrate recommendations to improve COVID19 response quality and report to the PM regularly and up on any emergency issue.
In coordination with PM, review and set a strategic work plan per WHO pillar in regard of COVID-19 response, and provide guidance to the Organization staff, health facility staff and/or local partners to improve planning, management and delivery.
Follow up the technical updates shared by WHO/ our Organization and keep updating the staff and conduct training when needed and applicable.
In collaboration with health officers and PHC manager and under his/her supervision, ensure following COVID-19 response activities in line with WHO 8 pillars. And follow up availability of the required tools, protocols and materials.
Follow up with the nurses at the point of entries and ensure they have technical capacity to conduct people screening and referrals accordingly. As well as having IPC supplies in place and applying IPC measures properly.
Coordinate with CHWs supervisor and team leaders to ensure community engagement and provide them with technical guidance and ensure provision of the IEC materials and disseminating awareness/ education messages to the targeted population.
Coordinate with log/operation team to facilitate establishing COVID-19 isolation units well equipped and fully functioning and ensure provision of PPE.
Provide technical guidance to the medical and non-medical team working in the Organization isolation units to ensure their safety first and follow/ apply case management and referral guidance.
In coordination with our Organization focal points at health facilities, RRT and WHO, report sample collection and follow up results to the PM.
Close follow up and management of IPC officers and in coordination with WASH monitor to ensure provision of PPE at health facilities, supported point of entries, organization’s vehicles and as well rationalization of its use. And ensure following IPC measure including best practices of waste management.
Individual capacity assessment for field health Staffs and accordingly propose and implement capacity building activities aimed at enhancing skills of local health providers and/or partners in delivery of surveillance, risk communication and community engagement and case management.
Review progress in achieving program objectives and targets in collaboration with program manager and implementing partners.
Evaluate that COVID-19 response activities are implemented according to international standards with appropriate monitoring and evaluation plans and necessary actions for program improvement.
Follow up the updates on Syria level and NES level and update and report to the PM accordingly.
Attend HWG meetings and the three task forces established for COVID-19 response purpose, participate actively in discussion, sharing information/ plans and report to the PM.
Update COVID-19 activities in health facilities and outreach activities on regular basis and report to the PM.
Coordinate and under the supervision of the PM implement any additional tasks upon the situation requirements.
