متطلبات العمل:
Education:
Diploma/high school in community development, rural development, sociology or other relevant field of education.
Experience and technical competencies:
Minimum 2 years of professional experience implementing community development and mobilization work, particularly in livelihoods.
Experience working on inclusion of persons with disabilities preferred.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Self-motivated, proactive, quick learner and excellent team worker.
Good communicator in working with local communities, groups and local authorities.
Ability and willingness to maintain regular presence at project sites.
Languages:
Fluent Arabic reading, writing and speaking.
English is an asset.
We offer
We will offer the successful applicant a six months’ contract, renewable dependent on both funding and performance.
and be willing and able to work in Raqqa City, with frequent travels in Raqqa Governorate.
Salary and conditions will be in accordance with the organization Terms and Conditions of Employment.
الوصف الوظيفي:
Assist and support Livelihoods officer and Manager in the planning, implementation and monitoring of livelihoods interventions – cash for work, vocational skills and micro-and –small enterprises – in North East Syria and Raqqa in particular.
Serve as the key focal point for the project within the community. Ensure good flow of information from the community to the project management unit and vice versa, communicating promptly and effectively.
Conduct community sensitization, awareness raising, community consultations and community mobilization for livelihood activities.
Together with livelihood workers, facilitate appropriate community involvement in the design and delivery of livelihood activities (local leaders, local authorities and local communities).
Establish a community steering committee or local committees through consultation with all key stakeholders and community people.
Assist in conducting beneficiary registrations and verifications in coordination with Livelihood Officer.
Conduct regular visits to monitor cash for work sites, skill and business trainings and other capacity building activities.
Organize trainings for beneficiaries in coordination with the Inclusion and PSS Workers/Officers.
Support community awareness campaigns on inclusion (e.g. of people with disabilities, women).
Participate and contribute to data collection, community discussions and post-distribution monitoring of livelihood activities.
Maintain effective coordination and relationships with local stakeholders, including local authorities, groups, businesses and committees in coordination with Livelihood Officer.
Provide weekly reports to Livelihoods Officer/Manager.
