Job Requirements:
Generic professional competencies:
- Experience from working in a humanitarian/recovery context;
- Previous experience from working in complex and volatile contexts;
- Documented experience related to the position’s responsibilities;
Context/ Specific skills, knowledge and experience:
- Information engineering or any University related to information Management.
- 2-3 year experience with Information Management such as surveys, sampling, data collection and analysis

- Experience in designing and implementing database systems for analytical research.
- Familiar with both quantitative and qualitative methods of research and analysis.
- General knowledge of NGO M&E systems
- Advanced computer skills, especially in MS Office Suite, MS Access
- Previous experience in an INGO/NGO, including humanitarian work IM systems development desirable but not required.
- Fluency in Arabic, and working Knowledge of English.

Job Description:
- Ensure that data collected by programme activities is recorded, archived correctly, processed and analysed in relation to Programme objectives;
- To routinely maintain the database storing the most up-to-date data;
- To maintain the project’s filing system to ensure that data and updated information is archived for easy access and reference;
- To help with the design and maintenance of data collection methodology, tools and analysis system for the assessment activities using appropriate software;
- To work closely and train field teams to ensure that the information from the field is able to be quickly transferred to database systems;
- To support the LFS Coordinator (Erbil) or SRO M&E Unit (Amman) to ensure any agreed M&E activities are implemented, data is collected, stored, and analysed;
- To attend meetings with authorities, communities and other stakeholders (other NGOs/ actors) to present the database and our progress in the field, when requested;
- To undertake community visits and assist with data collection with field staff, when requested, including training, mentoring and leading teams of enumerators;
- Produce reports containing qualitative and quantitative information as requested by the LFS Officer.
- Support the Programme Department in new initiatives, should these arise during the employment period;
