Education:

University degree, organizational Behavior, community development.

Experience:

3 years working experience in the NGOs.

Experience in emergency work is an advantage.

       Skills:

Very good Knowledge of English language, and fluency in Arabic.

Good experience in the usage of computers and office software packages (MS Word, Excel, and outlook).

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Well-developed organizational and planning skills

Job Description:

Responsible for leading the Identification, Documentation, Distribution process in the camp, and close coordination with the UNHCR for all the Identification & Distribution operations in the camp.

  • Follow-up the requirements of all received displaced people / families at the camp site and inform the management of the requirements for improving living standards and keeping standards as required relating to the distribution and the housing issue.
  • Follow-up identification and registration procedures and ensure the development of beneficiary data to meet all needs.
  • Follow-up procedures for archiving official documents and make a strong coordination with local authorities in order to ensure that no official documents are lost or damaged.
  • Coordinate with the UNHCR in order to ensure that all asylum seekers have the necessary evidence to protect them upon return.
  • Works closely with M&E team on accurate data collection, strict monitoring and feedback on program implementation and timely weekly and periodic program reporting.
  • Follow up with the Log team on the management of stock in the warehouses, prepare release orders and other logistical issues related to the distribution
  • Responsible for setting up and leading all emergency plans and distributions in the camp.
  • Write weekly implementation report and any other required reports for the sections mentioned before.
  • Coordination with other departments and all other organizations working in the field in order to coordinate distributions and needed responses among them in the camps.
  • Set up a practical distribution mechanism for all assistance items (FIs, NFIs, etc.).
  • Set up plan for and organize the identification process for all received displaced people/households at camp site.

ADDITIONAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure producing unique tags and required docs (e.g. Case IDs) for all camp residents.
  • Maintain an updated database reflecting beneficiary info, needs, cases, received assistance, movement (arrivals and departures), etc.
  • Keep regular contacts with local authorities and implementing partners as requested by supervisor.
  • Plan, implement, monitor and evaluate the distribution and Identification process on a monthly basis, in coordination with other stakeholders involved.
  • Plan, implement, monitor and evaluate the departures process.
  • Provide the Identification and distribution staff with appropriate tools and techniques.
  • Report back written and verbally as often as needed to inline manager on the progress of the work.

Refer protection cases when identified to the protection team

Fulfill any other duties as requested and/or needed.

ROLE PURPOSE:

The Distribution and Identification Officer is mainly responsible for leading all distributions and identification process in the camp and managing camp residents’ database, supervising and managing Distribution and Identification team in Roj camp through preparing their daily and weekly tasks, coordinate with all stockholders before any distribution and managing new arrivals registration and update relevant trackers for both newcomers and departures as well as preparing reports when and as needed based on line manager’s request.

Technically:  Snr.Distribution and Identification Officer.
