متطلبات العمل:
- Preferably, a bachelor’s degree in Arabic Literature, English Literature, Translation, Education, or any equivalent field, or equivalent experience.
- Good communication skills and fluency in English and Arabic.
- Ability to translate and interpret English into Arabic and vice versa upon student’s request.
- Excellent command of Arabic Syntax and Grammar.
- Previous experience in teaching Arabic /English with an international organization will be an added advantage.
- Patience and efficiency in teaching students’ the Arabic language.
- Ability to adopt different methods according to the aptitude of the students.
- Grading exam papers, maintaining records, and preparing monthly reports.
Deliverables:
By the end of the two months of the Assignment:
1- Beginner Level:
- The international student will be able to read and write in Arabic.
- Learn basic grammar rules.
- Be able to hold basic and short conversation (MODERN STANDARD ARABIC AND SYRIAN DIALECT UPON STAFF REQUEST).
2- Intermediate Level:
- The international students will be able to advance their Arabic language skills in listening, speaking, writing as well as reading.
- Will be able to improve their ability to communicate at an intermediate level by interpreting and presenting information in different tenses and contexts (MODERN STANDARD ARABIC AND SYRIAN DIALECT UPON STAFF REQUEST).
الوصف الوظيفي:
The HR Department in Northeast Syria is looking for an Arabic Teacher to be hired in Derek to help international staff to learn Arabic Language. The duration of course will be two months and will be subject to extension upon funds availability and teacher’s performance. The course will be given two hours per week on the following days-subject to change upon students’ request: Thursday and Friday from 5:00 – 6:00 P.M or 6:00 to 7:00 P.M. The Arabic teacher will teach conversation, grammar, speaking, reading, and writing.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
The purposes of this assignment are:
- Design Arabic Courses for Beginners and Intermediate Levels.
- Teaching students to speak, read and write Arabic taking into consideration cultural etiquettes.
- Guide students through the rudiments of spoken Arabic with the goal of improving conversation skills.
- Implement and led weekly conversation group for students to practice speaking skills.
- Evaluate students’ abilities to express themselves in oral and written Arabic through classroom conversations, assignments, papers, and exams.
Preparing assignments and grading examination papers
Maintaining a track of the progress of students and reporting the progress to the HR.
Maintaining records of the students.
