Job Requirements:
Generic professional competencies:
- Minimum Bachelor Degree;
- Previous experience from working in a humanitarian/recovery context, preferably as a project assistant; in the fields of Education / Children / Youth / Child Protection
- Previous experience from working in a complex and volatile context;
- Previous relevant experience of minimum 1 year from working in education for children;
- Sufficient knowledge in English, both written and verbal.
- Good at computer skills, especially in MS office (Excel, Word, Outlook…)
Context/ Specific skills, knowledge and experience
- Experience in facilitating activities with children or trainings for trainers (ToT) related to activities/programmes for children.
- Teaching experience or experience in delivering trainings for teachers
- Experience in building relationship with key stakeholders (e.g: local authorities, communities, etc)
- Preferable education related field degree.

Job Description:
Specific responsibilities
- Run the day to day operations of ORG’s education centre;
- Create a safe classroom/ learning centre environment conducive to learning and appropriate to the physical, social, and emotional development of children;
- Assist in developing and maintaining relations with IDPs, refugees and host communities, local authorities and other local actors;
- Assist in conducting and preparing mapping of relevant services being provided;
- Assist in conducting regular assessments and producing relevant reports (including focus group discussions);
- Assist with preparation of outreach work and conduct frequent outreach information with identified communities;
- Assist in supervising the incentive workers assigned in the centre;
- Assist with monitoring and following-up on the quality of services provided;
- Assist in maintaining archiving system up to date (both in hardcopies and electronically);
- Carry out administrative tasks as requested and agreed upon;
- Perform any other task as assigned by ORG management.
