Job Requirements:

Education:

  • Diploma (social sciences)

       Experience and technical competencies:

  • Previous experience with international or local NGOs is an asset
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Willing to work with dynamic team and caring attitude persons in need
  • Excellent planning /organization skills
  • Microsoft office (word and Excel)

    Other/General:

  • Flexibility and ability to work in a multicultural environment with cultural sensitivity, respect and neutrality
  • Open and interested to work in disability related issues
  • Able to work independently and with autonomy, while following objectives and instructions
  • Good time management and task management skills

Languages:

  • Arabic mandatory, English working Knowledge + any other local language is a big asset

We offer

The organization will offer the successful applicant a until 31st Dec-21 contract, renewable dependent on both funding and performance.

Salary and conditions will be according to salary grid. Minimum 791 USD/month + (allowances).          

Job Description:

  1. Activities’ implementation
  2. a) Referral pathway

-Identify people in need of support  in collaboration with HEALTH field staff

-Assess family and individual situations, considering strengths and weaknesses

-Prioritize cases, give appointments accordingly and share the appointment schedule with the technical lines

-Ensure regular follow up of open cases till the file is closed, in close coordination with PSS and RHB workers

-Refer people in need of additional services to other relevant NGOs, and ensure beneficiaries follow up

-Advocate for beneficiaries’ wellbeing internally and externally, when relevant

-Apply internal tools as requested

  1. b) Mapping exercise

-Support in developing and updating mapping exercise to track  relevant services

-Apply internal tools for mapping exercise (TBC)

  1. Coordination

-Attend regular weekly meetings with Health Project Supervisor to share updates on activities implementation, needs and gaps

-Externally, cooperate with services and NGOs to establish an efficient Referral Pathway

  1. Reporting

-Send daily reports to the Health Project Supervisor

-Centralize all the data collected in the field to be reported to the Health project Supervisor, using relevant internal reporting tools

-Report any specific problem that jeopardize the activities and propose solutions

  1. Demonstrate an ethic and professional practice

-Adopt a “Do no harm” approach, remaining aware of the limits of your own scope of practice and seeking technical guidance whenever unsure

-Implement a ‘do no harm’ approach,

-Respect beneficiary confidentiality and point of view

-Respect and promote HI’s Policies and report to your line manager any non-respect of HI’s policies among the teams or partners

-Report any incident or act that causes any harm to beneficiary or to others

-Always interact with children with the presence of their parents or caregivers

-Always respect a refusal of treatment

-Participate in the different activities, meetings and training that are common to all team member

  1. Security

-Follow all security rules in place

-Inform PM and Health Project Supervisor of any security issue faced on the field
