       The Opportunity:

  • Sensitize the Camp administration, camp management and community leader about project and collaborate with them to ensure its successful implementation.
  • Leads the process of registering and selecting beneficiaries while ensuring transparency and fairness in all stages of the project and that the activity reaches the people most in need.
  • Supports the distribution process (in the planning, implementation, and reporting stages) and always ensures the professional and safe behavior of all employees and that the distribution is carried out in accordance with the organization safety procedures.
  • Ensure understanding of distribution roles and responsibilities at each site and contribute to post distribution debriefing to identify and address challenges.
  • Take any necessary measures when on site to accommodate people with special needs.
  • Assist the distribution official in preparing daily, weekly, and monthly plans for distribution
  • Assist the distribution officer in a timely manner in preparing distribution documents and other demands that require the smooth implementation of distribution operations
  • Ensure proper documentation and reporting of each process.
  • Prepare financial and administrative documents related to project activities, such as purchase orders, financial payments, etc.
  • Ensure that up-to-date lists of beneficiaries are maintained electronically and on paper
  • Ensure that day laborers carry out the full cycle of activities, organize, and arrange distribution operations in accordance with the security procedures specified by the organization.
  • Submit reports on a regular and organized basis, taking into account time and work pressures, follow up on feedback from beneficiaries, and connect them with the relevant departments. People Management
  • Supervise and task the fresh food Volunteers based on the agreed periodic work-plan.
  • Ensure that all incentive workers receives formal orientation on mandatory the organization policies (CSG, Anti-Harassment, CoC etc) before they are engaged in work and periodic refreshers.

In order to be successful you will bring/have:

  • Bachelor Degree in relevant field .
  • Experience working with non-governmental organizations for 1-2 years
  • Experience in dealing with cash and vouchers of no less than one year, as he/she must demonstrate sufficient understanding of the financial vouchers project (food and in-kind).
  • Experience in working inside camps in northern and eastern Syria, is preferable
  • Strong communication skills with employees and diplomatic with beneficiaries and stakeholders in the areas covered by the activities.
  • He/she has the ability to manage the team of incentive volunteers and distribute tasks.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize and solve problems in a difficult environment.
  • He/she must have the skill to collect and maintain distribution information on paper and electronically.
  • Good computer skills including Microsoft Office, Excel, and Word
  • Participate in continuous field visits and bear the pressure of working long hours.
  • Experience in dealing with providers contracted by the organization and providing updates in a professional manner
  • Experience in identifying market variables (inside and outside the camp) and their requirements and providing periodic updates to the supervisor
  • Excellent experience and/or understanding of children’s rights and child protection.
