Blumont is looking to hire 01 Position of Community Mobilizer in Roj Camp – To Cover Maternity Leave.

KEY AREAS OF ACCOUNTABLITY

  • Design the content of and monitoring and evaluation tools for community awareness raising sessions in Protection for (Men-Women-Youth-Children), health, hygiene promotion, nutrition and, in coordination with the line Manager.
  • Organize and deliver community awareness raising events as determined by project objectives.
  • Monitor and evaluate the outcomes of the community awareness raising sessions.
  • Conduct regular field visits to record the protection and safety risks and deliver the key messages.
  • Support the collection and documentation of impact and success stories.
  • Provide support in explaining services map for camp residents and continuously updating the 4WS.
  • Conduct FGDs according to the program needs to insure the participation.
  • Managing the info desk and receive the complaints from the beneficiaries and providing the feedback.
  • Conduct capacity building trainings for the community leaders.
  • Hold regular meetings with community leaders.
  • Coordinate with other relevant resources to ensure the delivery of further community awareness sessions on health and hygiene topics.
  • Provide daily and weekly reports for the implemented activities.
  • Any other duties.

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:

 

Education:

  • University degree.

Experience:

  • Minimum 1 years of NGOs work experience in the same field

    Skills/Competencies:

  • Good Knowledge of English language, and fluency in Arabic.
  • Good experience in the usage of computers and office software packages (MS Word, Excel, and outlook).
  • Have high standards of ethics and integrity
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Flexibility in terms of working hours and working locations.
