CONTEXT
We are a private, non-profit international medical humanitarian organization dedicated to providing medical assistance to populations in crisis, without discrimination and regardless of race, religion, creed or political affiliation. To support our operations across North East Syria, we are currently looking for the following position:
Health Promoter Officer – LEVEL 5
Job Family: Medical

Contract of Employment: Fixed-Terms-Contract for 12 months, Renewal
| Job Purpose:
Implement Health Promotion/IEC (Information, Education, and Communication) activities with patients and local population to raise their knowledge and skills on relevant medical topics. |

| Accountabilities and Specifications:
· Inform patients and communities about organization and services it provides. · According to medical priorities, deliver information to the patients and community on specific health topics · Implement activities of health education and awareness (sessions in schools, community), under the indications and supervision of the HP Supervisor. · Under the guide of HP Supervisor, assess the impact of activities (with questions, verifications and behaviors observations), and report problems, success and constraints to him/her. · Collect all type of information related to specific health and living conditions of the population, in particular to identify the most vulnerable populations to target. · Report to HP Supervisor: activities, problems met, strengths and constraints. · Community outreach activities and PAC part. · Keep education and communication areas clean and tidy and professional materials available. · Participate in creation of any material needed for the activities of information, education and communication. |

| Requirements | |
| Education | Education level in social science, social communication, nurse or teaching. |
| Experience | Essential minimum 1 year experience in INGO’s Preferable experience in teaching, nursing or social work, community mobilization |
| Knowledge | Essential computer literacy (word, excel, internet) |
| Language | English is desirable. |
| Competencies: | Results, team work, Stress Management , Flexibility, Commitment |

| هدف الوظيفة:
تنفيذ أنشطة التثقيف الصحي (المعلومات، التعليم والاتصالات) مع المرضى ومع السكان المحليين لغرض زيادة مستوى المعرفة والمهارات لديهم والمتعلقة بالمواضيع الطبية ذات الصلة. |

| المسؤوليات والمواصفات:
– إخبار المرضى والمجتمع بمعلومات عن المنظمة وعن الخدمات التي تقدمها. – وفقاً للأولويات الطبية، إيصال المعلومات إلى المرضى وإلى المجتمع حول مواضيع محددة تتعلق بالصحة. – – تنفيذ النشاطات المتعلقة بالتثقيف والتوعية الصحية (جلسات في المدارس، وفي المجتمع) وذلك بناء على توجيهات وإشراف مشرف التثقيف الصحي. – – بناء على توجيهات مشرف التثقيف الصحي، يجب أن يقوم المثقف الصحي بإجراء تقييم عن آثار الأنشطة (وذلك بطرح الأسئلة، التحقق، ومراقبة السلوكيات)، ورفع تقارير بالمشاكل، بالنجاح وبالمعوقات بالنسبة له / لها. • – – جمع جميع المعلومات المتعلقة ببعض الشروط الصحية والمعيشية المحددة بالنسبة للسكان، وبشكل خاص لتحديد الفئة المستضعفة جداً من الناس لأجل استهدافها. – رفع التقارير إلى مشرف التثقيف الصحي فيما يتعلق: بالأنشطة، بالمشاكل التي تم حلها، بنقاط القوة وبالمعوقات. – أنشطة التوعية المجتمعية ودور اللجنة الاستشارية للمرضى. – المحافظة على نظافة وترتيب منطقة التعليم والاتصالات، والتأكد من توافر المواد المهنية. – المساهمة في ابتكار أية مواد ضرورية للأنشطة المتعلقة بمجال المعلومات، التعليم، والاتصالات. |

| التعليم | من لديه مستوى تعليمي في العلوم الاجتماعية، التواصل الاجتماعي، في التمريض أو في التدريس. |
| الخبرات | أساسي :من لديه خبرة على الأقل سنة واحدة مع أية منظمات غير حكومية أخرى , يفضل من لديه خبرة في التدريس , التمريض أو عمل مجتمعي , أو تعبئة مجتمعية . |
| المعرفة | أساسي من لديه معرفة بأساسيات الحاسوب ( وورد , اكسيل , انترنت ) |
| اللغات | اللغة الإنجليزية مرغوب بها. |
| الكفاءات | النتائج، روح العمل كفريق، إدارة الضغط النفسي، المرونة، والالتزام. |
كيفية التقدم للشاغر الوظيفي:
