Blumont is looking to hire a Daily Monitoring and Evaluation Assistant (Female) for BHA SAFER II Program funded by the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) in Twehiniya Camp, North East Syria.

Job Description:

ROLE PURPOSE:

The post holder is responsible for conducting Post distribution monitoring survey (PDM) for winter distributions.  Also responsible for supporting Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) field team during assessments, distributions, Quality Assurance and Quality Check (QA/QC), and activity follow ups.

In the event of a major humanitarian emergency, the role holder will be expected to work outside the normal role profile and be able to vary working hours accordingly.

 

KEY AREAS OF ACCOUNTABLITY

 

  • Monitor the distribution of the different shipments including winter items, summer items, NFI, kerosene..etc that distributed by Blumont in the camp to ensure the requested quantity reached the camp and delivered to the camp residents
  • Conduct a survey for the camp residents after each distribution to get feedback on the quality and quantity of received items.
  • Report any finding or issue that need to be flagged to the M&E Assistant directly.
  • Conducting PDM survey and other requested surveys with M&E field team by using KOBO.
  • Keep and assure a good working environment with colleagues and beneficiaries.
  • Any other task as reasonably assigned by the supervisor.

 

Additional job responsibilities

 

  • Supporting M&E team for conducting market survey when needed.

Qualifications and Skills

QUALIFICATIONS

 

  • University or institute degree.

EXPERIENCE and SKILLS

 

  • Experience in conducting surveys, monitoring and assessments, previous experience with NGO is preferable.
  • Willingness and ability to perform monitoring field work.
  • Ability to work and interact with a diverse staff and beneficiaries from different ethnicities and backgrounds
