Job Title: Junior Liaison Assistant- Raqqa (Part time contract)

Job Requirements:
- It is preferable to have at least an institute certificate or something similar
- Proactive, diligent and with a high level of integrity
- A confident and effective communicator
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Organized and detail oriented
- Experience in working or volunteering with a humanitarian organization or Local NGO for at least six months in the same field is preferable.
- Previous liaison experience with an NGO
Job Description:
- Liaise with program teams and stakeholders (HAO and other authorities), to ensure timely approvals and updates on developments
- Support the OSU in ensuring compliance in Raqqa with all the org safety and security standards
- Represent the OSU at meetings in Raqqa as directed
- Assist the OSU in incident reporting, information gathering, and disseminating timely safety and security updates to staff in your AoR
- Respond to program requests to ensure reports, handover notes, and other documentation and delivered and returned promptly
- Professionally represent the org when conducting liaison tasks
- Establish positive relations with authorities, community and tribal representatives, emergency services, and other key stakeholders within your AoR
- Build and maintain positive collaborative relationships with safety and security counterparts in other NGOs
- Proactively ensure that the reputation of the org is promoted in your AoR and report and address any potential reputational challenges
- Develop and maintain a database of authorities, NGOs, and other key stakeholders in your AoR.
