متطلبات العمل:

  • University degree, English literature, English translation, legal studies or any other relevant field
  • Prior 2-3 years of professional experience in a community or protection programme is strongly desired in which 1-2 years of reporting experience is required.
  • Very Good command of English language skills, oral and written, and the ability to translate from Arabic to English;
  • Very good analytical and reporting skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills and ability to meet strict deadlines.
  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a team, as well as independently.
  • Very Good experience in using Microsoft applications and databases especially (Excel and power bi).
  • Flexible and able to work in a dynamic and diverse environment.

Working Environment:

The position will be based in Raqqa city, Ar Raqqa Governorate.

الوصف الوظيفي:

Under the direct supervision of the Protection manager the Protection Reporting Officer will be based in Ein Issa office and is responsible for obtaining reliable protection information from the field through ongoing coordination, information review and provision of feedback to the protection community assessors. He/She will also be responsible of translating data/information received into English and data entry into the protection database in addition to generating protection reports.

The Protection Reporting Officer will provide guidance to Community Assessors on accurate information collection in the field using the relevant Protection Monitoring Forms provided by the Organization. Bi-weekly and monthly protection reports will be generated and delivered to the Information Management Officer who will review, and ensure timely submission and quality of Community Assessor deliverables, in addition to referrals, and submit to the Protection Manager on a weekly basis.

Job Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with the Protection Mointors and other relevant parties to obtain detailed and reliable protection monitoring data on a weekly basis, including protection mainstreaming teams, case workers, health outreach workers, community mobilisers
  • Review the received information collected and work with the relevant protection monitors to make sure the received information is accurate/timely and consistence;
  • Highlight new action points and follow up with the protection monitors on the progress against protection action points in previous reporting periods;
  • Translate the information received from the field into English as its inputted into excel reporting formats;
  • Ensure timely and accurate entry of the complete protection information into the protection database;
  • Prepare and submit weekly excel reports and bi-weekly or monthly field reports to the Protection Manager in a timely manner
  • Generate protection monitoring reports using Organization developed forms in English and submit the draft to the Protection Monitoring Officer for consolidation/review on weekly basis.
  • Provide ongoing support to the Protection monitors on accurate data collection and use of protection monitoring forms in the field;
  • Support other specific reporting requirements as/when needed which relate to assessments conducted by case workers and MEAL teams, and … etc.
  • Perform other duties, as needed, or requested by the supervisor.

  • Position Reports to: Protection Manager

Position directly supervises:  None

  • Indirect Reporting: Senior Protection Manager
  • Other Internal and/or external contacts: protection monitoring officer, Protection monitors
  • Internal: Senior Protection Manager, Integrated Protection Coordinator, Integrated Protection program staff including M&E team
  • External: None.
