متطلبات العمل:
- 2-year experience minimum as a Medical Doctor. Ideally has worked with other international organizations but not essential.
- Good knowledge of written and spoken English.
- Good computer skills, Microsoft office (Excel – word).
- High level of Integrity
- Strong characteristic and analytical person
- Excellent communication and inter-personal skills with ability to pay attention to detail.
- Reporting skills
- Good communication skills and dealing with staff, doctors and patients when needed
الوصف الوظيفي:
Provide medical care to patients/beneficiaries that have been referred to the Field Hospital within the scope of your current medical knowledge, organization protocols, values, and universal hygiene standards to improve the patients/beneficiary’s health conditions.
Responsibilities
- Apply medical knowledge and skills to diagnose and treat patients. Carry out consultations of patients referred to the Field Hospital prescribing the necessary treatment within the organization protocols.
- Keep the patient and/or his/her family/care givers informed about the illness and provide appropriate explanations about the treatment to follow, checking they have understood.
- Review the inpatients daily by consulting and examining them, prescribing the necessary treatment following organization protocols, deciding whether they can be discharged or transferred to other facilities – in collaboration with other members of the healthcare team – and informing their family/care givers about the patient’s condition.
- Check and control the rational distribution of medicines and equipment under his/her responsibility and take care the quality, disinfection, and sterilization of the medical material that they have used. Assure general compliance with hygiene standards.
- Maintain high standards of information gathering and documentation of patient case records.
- Participate in organization related training sessions and other training sessions to maintain and improve medical knowledge.
- Knows and ensures all organization medical protocols are followed and implemented, checking universal precautions are always followed and reducing bio-hazard risks and improving infection control.
- If condition treated does not fall under organization medical protocols, implement reasonable treatment plans within the scope of personal and professional competencies and knowledge.
- Ensures professional confidentiality is respected.
- Be involved with quality improvement activities if requested by management team
