Job Requirements:
The position requires a bachelor’s degree in computer sciences, information technology or relevant field, At-least 02 years of experience working in quantitative data analysis and coding scripts on mobile based data collection platforms is required, with 01-year experience in data management system design, maintenance, and programming. This person should have proven experience in managing excel databases and other types of data management. The person should have experience in data cleaning, verification, consolidation, analysis and reporting. Experience conducting trainings will be an added advantage. Fluency in written and spoken English is desirable and Arabic is required. Must be proficient in computers especially advanced Excel, Word, Access, Power point and Database Management Systems (DBMS), with digital data gathering platforms.
Job Description:
Under the supervision of Senior Data Management Officer the data quality officer will be responsible for the overall data management including master database of beneficiaries, enter complete data of programs in the database, data cleaning and preparation of monthly beneficiary updates reports. The person will ensure smooth data reconciliation and updating databases on regular basis. Provide valuable feedback to Senior Data Management Officer on developing new data collection forms and/or data entry sheets. The person will be responsible for designing Excel (xls) forms required for mobile data capture (MDC). The person will be responsible to consolidate all databases including master beneficiary databases, distributions and, post distribution monitoring data market monitoring and other databases. Performing data analysis for one-off data collections such as: assessments, surveys, etc.. Ensure that all necessary documents, analysis and reports are uploaded to intranet site/department cloud storage. The person will regularly monitor and validate data coming through ONA platform to ensure high quality. Design data analysis templates for regular data collected from PDMs DMs etc, and follow and ensure that all data protection policies are applied. Preparing 4Ws and share it with Working Groups in NES. Preparing quarterly reports, Log-frame and ITT for Donors in supervisor’s absence. Supporting the Senior Data Management Officer in preparing beneficiary tracker and sharing the dashboard for all programs.
