POSITION Hygiene Promotion /Community Health  Daily Worker

PRESENTATION OF THE ORGANIZATION

SOLIDARITES INTERNATIONAL is humanitarian organization which provides aid and assistance to victims of war or natural disaster. For over 40 years the association has focused on meeting three vital needs – water, food and shelter. Currently present in NES since 2017, SI carries out emergency / post-emergency programs in WASH /WASH Rehabilitation/shelter sector in NES region.

DESCRIPTION OF THE POSITION

 

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

 

Implementation

  • Complete tasks according to instructions given by the Hygiene Promotion Officer
  • Conduct awareness sessions for the beneficiaries based on the prepared plan by HP officer/ supervisor by using Solidarities resources.
  • Distribute HP brochures to beneficiaries.
  • Filling KOBO forms with number of attendees (male & female)
  • Filling SOVs and requesting when relevant photo consent
  • Distribute basic hygiene materials, complete KOBO form

 

Reporting/Communication

  • If needed, fill out a consumption follow-up sheet related to its activities
  • Report to the line manager on the progress of specific assigned tasks, on a daily basis
  • Report any problems or delays to the Hygiene Promotion Officer and suggest any possible solutions
  • Pass on any information relating to safety issues

PROFILE FORSAKEN

  • Bachelor’s degree/diploma in social, medical, and/or environmental-related subjects or at least 1 year’sexperience in planning and implementing hygiene promotion activities
  • good knowledge of KAP survey
  • Fluent in Arabic and Kurdish language
  • Relevant work experience with an International Non-Government   Organization (NGO)
  • Good communication, coordination, and networking skills
