Job Title: MEAL Data Collector

Location: Sur & Kisra

Contract duration: Till 31-March-2024

Line Manager: MEAL assistant

Position Summary

The Data collector will conduct data collection and monitoring activities both in camp and out-of-camp activities in (Sur/Kisra) location.  Data collector will work under the direct supervision of MEAL Assistant

 

Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Support to monitor field distribution events with partners and staff.
  • Support beneficiary registration and verification process.
  • Collect precise data for ongoing distribution process (the distribution method).
  • Conduct interviews for beneficiary satisfaction through interviews.
  • Conducting verification for BNFs has been registered by the program team.
  • Assists in communicating key project information and results with community members and colleagues.
  • Participates in community-based conversations on ongoing project interventions.
  • Shares insights and perspectives based on observations and interactions with community members and colleagues.
  • Support and checks on the functioning of field-level community feedback mechanisms under the guidance of MEAL Assistant.
  • Collects quality data using paper and/or digital MEAL tools on a timely basis.
  • Conducting regular M & E visits to the field.
  • Data collection for field assessments and surveys.
  • Conduct beneficiary interviews, capture field photos and videos.
  • Support and monitor beneficiary registration and verification.
  • Photocopy and organize assessment forms and monitoring tools.
  • Support filing and organization of collected data and records.
  • Any assignment related to work assignee by MEAL Assistant.

 

Required Qualification, Skills and Experience

  • University degree or diploma in a relevant field (this could include social sciences, business administration, and others). Or student in university.
  • Experience in working or volunteering with a humanitarian organization for at least 6 months.
  • Previous experience in distributions or data collection or monitoring at least 6 months.
  • Familiar with mobile data collection tools (KOBO, ONA, CommCare, etc….)
  • Experience in facilitating group discussions and meetings.
