Contract period:  31 Dec 2023 (with possibility to extend)

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • University degree or Institute certificate or high school diploma; college degree or diploma in a relevant field (this could include social sciences, business administration, and others)
  • At least six months’ experience in a similar job Experience in working or volunteering with a humanitarian organization in distribution.
  • Previous experience in distributions, data collection and monitoring
  • Competence with MS Office applications and mobile data collection tools
  • Experience in facilitating group discussions and meetings
  • Ability to interact with a wide range of people including IDPs, Hosting Communities, local authorities, humanitarian agencies, etc

 

JOB SUMMARY

The work is mainly focused on WASH, Food security and livelihoods, NFI/Shelter and Gender & protection with a special emphasis on the needs of women and girls. The Role of Rapid Response Temporary Worker is to support distribution of relief items at IDP camps and support ongoing program assessments at field level in Hassakah and DZ governorate. Rapid Response Temporary Worker will work under the direct supervision of NES field staff. It is anticipated that these Rapid Response Temporary Worker will help NES program to improve the efficiency, quality and impact of work in NES.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support to organize field distribution events in consultation with partners and staff.
  • Support beneficiary registration and verification process
  • Crowd control and organize people in distribution sites.
  • Collect beneficiary signature and information required for the distributions.
  • Distribute relief items to selected beneficiaries.
  • Organize daily workers for loading and unloading of relief items.
  • Data collection for field assessments and surveys
  • Conduct beneficiary interviews, capture field photos and videos
  • Support and monitor beneficiary registration and verification
  • Photocopy and organize assessment forms and monitoring tools.
  • Support filing and organization of collected data and records.
  • Scan beneficiary lists and assessment forms
