EDU/PSS promoter Assistant (7 Positions) –

Starting date: 1st October, 2023
Contract duration: 31st December, 2023 (possibility of extension)
Country Programme: Northeast Syria
Base: (1) Raqqa, (2) Tabqa, (3) Manbij & (1) Dier Ezzor Camps/In formal settlements
Line Manager: EDU/PSS Assistant
Responsibilities
The main responsibility of the promoter assistant is to collect children and regularly inviting them to attend activities, in addition to supporting the children while they are inside the TLCs especially the disabled children and covering the gaps in the absence of promoter. she will be working under direct supervision of the EDU/PSS Assistant.
The main tasks of the EDU/PSS promoter assistant are as follows:
- Takes full responsibility in collecting the children and bringing them safely to the TLC, and supporting them to return to their tents safely when the activities are done.
- Take full responsibility in helping children when visiting the toilet and washing hands, with special care for disabled children or children with special vulnerabilities.
- Support promoters in the implementation of Temporary Learning Spaces (TLS), and particularly structured PSS Programs and Non-Formal Education activities according to the agreed plan of action;
- To ensure Constantly that the water dispensers are filled with potable water and that the drinking cups are clean, sterilized while ensuring that there are a sufficient number of cups in each tent/classroom.
- Supervising hand sanitizing process for children before, during and after carrying out activities, and Ensuring that children strictly adhere to preventive measures and do not share tools.
- Support in covering the gaps, by participating and implementing NFE &SEL activities when it is needed.
- Supervise and support children’s play activities at the agreed time;
- Ensure safe and child friendly atmosphere within the Temporary Learning Space;
- Support with the preparation of NFE classes and/or PSS activities;
- Prepare, invite, support and facilitate during monthly caregiver engagement activities on parent skills, child protection and child well-being;
- Ensure that children feel comfortable, safe, and respected;
- Ensure that all games and equipment are accounted for and sorted securely at the end of the day;
- Identify children in distress and report cases to supervisors;
- Understand and abide by the principles of the TLS and the established codes of conduct, child protection policies, and other relevant guidelines;
- Any other task as requested by the PIN EDU/PSS team;
- Will adhere to COVID-19 & Cholera preventive measures during and throughout execution of all above mentioned tasks.
Requirements and qualifications for the position:
- Minimum required education – High school diploma, (obligatory);
- bachelor or institute in education, psychology, pedagogy, social work or relevant (desired);
- Previous experience in EDU/PSS will be considered as an advantage (desired);
- Previous experience in working with children with special needs will be considered as an advantage (desired);
- Previous experience in working with children from 5 to 16 years old will be considered as an advantage (desired);
- Patient. Ability to control big classes and deal with children (obligatory);

مساعد منشط التعليم والدعم النفسي الاجتماعي (7 مناصب)

الموقع: المخيمات والتجمعات العشوائية في الرقة (1), الطبقة(2), منبج(3), ودير الزور(1)
المدير المباشر: مساعد التعليم والدعم النفسي الاجتماعي.
المسؤوليات
تتمثل المسؤولية الرئيسية لمساعدة المنشط في جمع الأطفال ودعوتهم بانتظام للحضور والانتظام بالأنشطة، بالإضافة إلى مساعدة الأطفال أثناء وجودهم داخل مراكز التعليم المؤقتة وخاصة الأطفال ذوي الإعاقة وتغطية الفجوات في حالة غياب أحد
المنشطين. ستعمل تحت الإشراف المباشر لمساعد التعليم والدعم النفسي الاجتماعي.
المهام الرئيسية لميسر التعليم والدعم النفسي الاجتماعي كالتالي:
- تتحمل المسؤولية الكاملة في جمع الأطفال وإحضارهم بأمان إلى مركز التعليم المؤقت، ومساعدتهم للعودة إلى خيامهم بأمان عند الانتهاء من الأنشطة.
- تحمل المسؤولية الكاملة في مساعدة الأطفال عند زيارة المرحاض وغسل الأيدي، مع إيلاء رعاية خاصة للأطفال المعاقين أو الأطفال ذوي الاحتياجات الخاصة.
- دعم المنشطين في تنفيذ الانشطة داخل مراكز التعليم المؤقتة، وخاصة برامج الدعم النفسي الاجتماعي المنظمة وأنشطة التعليم غير الرسمي (محو الامية والحساب) وفقًا لخطة العمل المتفق عليها.
- التأكد باستمرار من أن برادات المياه مملوءة بمياه الشرب وأن أكواب الشرب نظيفة ومعقمة مع التأكد من وجود عدد كافٍ من الأكواب في كل خيمة.
- الإشراف على عملية تطهير الأيدي للأطفال قبل، أثناء وبعد تنفيذ الأنشطة، والتأكد من التزام الأطفال الصارم بالتدابير الوقائية وعدم مشاركة الأدوات.
- الدعم في تغطية الثغرات، من خلال المشاركة وتنفيذ أنشطة التعليم غير الرسمي والتعلم الاجتماعي العاطفي عند الحاجة.
- الإشراف على أنشطة لعب الأطفال ودعمها في الوقت المتفق عليه؛
- ضمان أجواء آمنة وصديقة للأطفال داخل مراكز التعلم المؤقتة.
- تقديم الدعم لإعداد فصول التعليم غير الرسمي و / أو أنشطة الدعم النفسي الاجتماعي.
- التحضير والدعوة والدعم والتيسير خلال الأنشطة الشهرية لإشراك مقدمي الرعاية حول مهارات الوالدين وحماية الطفل ورفاه الطفل؛
- ضمان شعور الأطفال بالراحة والأمان والاحترام.
- المساعدة في جرد جميع الألعاب والمعدات وفرزها بشكل آمن في نهاية اليوم.
- تحديد الأطفال الذين هم بحاجة ماسة وإبلاغ المشرفين بالحالات.
- فهم والالتزام بمبادئ مراكز التعلم المؤقت وقواعد السلوك المعمول بها وسياسات حماية الطفل والمبادئ التوجيهية الأخرى ذات الصلة؛
- أي مهمة أخرى يطلبها فريق التعليم والدعم النفسي الاجتماعي
- الالتزام بالتدابير الوقائية لـ وباء الكوليرا وكوفيد ١٩ أثناء وطوال تنفيذ جميع المهام المذكورة أعلاه.
- المؤهلات المطلوبة:
- شهادة ثانوية عامة كحد أدني (شرط الزامي)
- شهادة جامعية أو معهد في التربية أو علم النفس أو علم أصول التدريس أو العمل الاجتماعي أو ذي صلة (مرغوب فيه) ؛
- سنتين خبرة على الأقل في التعامل مع الأطفال او التدريس (شرط الزامي)
- تعتبر الخبرة في مجال الدعم النفسي والمساحات الصديقة للطفل حافزا للتوظيف
- خبرة سابقة في التعامل مع الأطفال ذوي الاحتياجات الخاصة ويعتبر هذا الشرط أحد حوافز التوظيف
- تعتبر الخبرة السابقة في العمل مع الأطفال من سن 5 إلى 16 سنوات ميزة (مرغوبة)؛
- الصبر والقدرة على ضبط الصفوف الكبيرة (شرط الزامي)
