Job Requirements:

Education:

  • University or institute degree in Business, Organizational Behavior, Community Development, social sciences, or related field.

Experience:

  • Minimum one year of experience with NGO.

    Skills/Competencies:

  • Good experience in data collections, assessments, and surveys.
  • Computer literate in Microsoft Word, Excel, and email.
  • Good organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to travel to all the program areas in Al Hasakah, and any other areas in the north and northeast of Syria.

Job Description:

  1. Assist in data collection, including Formal site monitoring report survey, intention survey, Quarterly survey, post-distribution monitoring, and other surveys and assessments as needed.
  2. Conduct daily site visits to the activities’ locations such as distribution (Gas cylinders, Fire extinguishers, NFIs, etc.. ), community mobilization activities, engineering work (maintenance and rehabilitation works), and WASH activities such as (SWM, Desludging, and water tracking activities).
  3. Monitoring the quality of implemented activities and distributions through observation, beneficiaries’ feedback, and onsite monitoring.
  4. Record all the field visit findings to the M&E officer.
  5. Support the overall monitoring of program activities.
  6. Report any finding or issue that needs to be flagged to the Monitoring and Evaluation Officer directly.
  7. Verify distribution figures and information.
  8. Take an active role in gaining the beneficiary’s complaints related to all project aspects.
  9. Ensure proper handling and movement of any project monitoring, assessment, and survey files.
  10. Keep and assure a good working environment with colleagues and beneficiaries.
  11. Perform any other related duties as required.
