Job Requirements:

QUALIFICATIONS:

B.Sc in civil engineering or any related field.

EXPERIENCE and SKILLS

In minimum 2 Years working experience in field operation and implementation

Experience in emergency work is an advantage.

Good Knowledge of English language, and fluency in Arabic.

Good experience in the usage of computers and office software packages (Auto CAD, MS Word, Excel, and outlook).

Strong analytical skills

Ability to operate in a cross-cultural environment requiring flexibility.

Ability to work independently.

Job Description:

The site engineer in Newroz camp follows up the daily activities, and he will participate in emergency preparedness activities and be ready to respond in the event of an emergency, as required, and Overseeing field duties and responsibilities design, plan and implement maintenance/rehabilitation of IDP sites as well as other finds solutions for emergencies and responds to them.

Staff reporting to this post: Field Assistants -Site Technicians

KEY AREAS OF ACCOUNTABLITY

Overseeing, mentor and follow up all civil works, implementation, maintenance, field services at site level.

Preparing Bill of quantities with all required specifications, and drawings and close supervision for implementing of the engineering projects (WASH-Shelters) at the site.

checking technical designs and drawings to ensure that they are followed correctly.

Day to day Follow up & planning of field team activities.

Preparing progress reports and payment documents regarding the finished projects.

Analyzing and resolving work problems.

Submitting Weekly, Monthly orders of all contracts that’s cover site’s needs (implementation and service ones).

Attended regular Senior Staff meetings internally and externally.

Regular visit to the project sites to ensure quality of the implemented works and coordinate with M&E and QA/QC staff for any raised/found issues.

Regular updating of site infrastructures statics and trackers that related to field activities.

Doing regular assessment camp infrastructures

Daily, weekly and monthly reports of sites activities

Day to day follow up of sites services and implementation ensuring its matched standers and work specification.

Team training on humanitarian standers that related to services.

Along with field team collaboration the site engineer supervising contracted staff.

Update site master plan in regular bases

Any other deputy assigned by line manager.
