Job Requirements:
Essential
Minimum Third level education.
Previous experience in a humanitarian organization
Experience in conducting assessments and distributions.
Previous experience with digital data gathering (DDG) applications. I.e – iformbuilder, Kobo, ODK, etc.
Commitment to humanitarian principles and values.
Commitment to the organization equal opportunity and gender practices.
Ability to work as part of a team and demonstrate a collaborative working approach.
Ability to effectively and compassionately engage with vulnerable populations and maintain a high degree of discretion.
Willingness to be flexible and work long hours when required;
Good organizational skills and ability to remain calm and work well under pressure.

Job Description:
Implementation of Food Security and Emergency programme activities
To collect accurate assessment data, ensuring that programme participants are registered correctly and that they conform with the criteria outlined by the management team.
To conduct distribution activities, ensuring that all items are distributed in line with organization’s distribution lists and distribution guidelines.
Conduct market monitoring, ensuring food voucher and NFI programme participants are treated respectfully while redeeming their vouchers. And the organization participating vendors are following agreed redeeming procedures.
To communicate kindly and respectfully at all times with the community and program teams.
To coordinate effectively with Food Security and Emergency Assistant and to liaise with daily workers to ensure the successful outcome of programme activities.
To ensure accurate messaging to programme participants in relation to the organization, its programme activities, and its accountability mechanism.
To promote the use and support the function of accountability mechanisms, including the community response mechanism (CRM).
Support the M&E team with data collection and baseline assessments based on Organization guidelines.
Actively participate in the preparation of weekly program plans.
General
To adhere to the standards of conduct outlined in the Organization Code of Conduct and its Associated Policies
To undertake other programme activities when requested by the Food Security and Emergency Assistant and Officer.
