Job Requirements:

Skills:

  • Willingness to undertake regular field visits.
  • Computer and information technology literacy, including demonstrated expertise in Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Good level of written and spoken English
  • Experience in participatory assessment, surveys, monitoring and evaluation, training and facilitation, data processing or analysis.
  • Knowledge of KOBO or similar data collection platforms
  • Work experience in M&E Toolkits, Analytical Programs.

Job Description:

General Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Collecting data related to the implementation of project activities and entering them through approved forms and databases.
  • Conducting all quantitative and qualitative data collection activities in coordination with the Monitoring and Evaluation Officer.
  • Conducting field visits to monitor the implementation of project activities depending on the project’s monitoring and evaluation plan.
  • Follow-up on the application of accountability standards in the various project sites.
  • Collecting data and conducting interviews with various beneficiaries and stakeholders to verify satisfaction, follow up on resolving complaints, identify gaps and report them to the responsible manager.
  • Assisting in assessing needs by conducting a field survey.
  • Upload data and information and send it to the monitoring and evaluation officer.
  • Collect information and lessons learned from the implementation of the project and share it with the Monitoring and Evaluation Officer.
  • Review data and verify its accuracy in order to ensure accuracy in reports.
  • He/She is responsible for publishing the accountability mechanism, receiving complaints, and ensuring transparency in work.
  • Attending the scheduled trainings and interacting positively with the project management.
  • Carry out any other work assigned to him by the project team/MEAL team.
  • Manage the feedback systems and ensure a timely and appropriate follow-up if needed.
  • Work closely with the field staff to collect data and implement activities to support beneficiaries’ accountability.
  • Manage and report community complaints and feedback under the supervision of the MEAL Co/Officer.
  • Help the MEAL Co/Officer in establishing and managing the Complaint and Feedback Mechanism at field level with beneficiaries and stakeholders.
