– Proven previous experience of at least two years in delivering technical trainings;

– Capacity to teach to others and transfer skills.

– Patient character with good aptitude for listening the others.

Job Description:

Responsibilities:
– To offer technical trainings to beneficiaries in one of the defined sectors (food processing, sewing and cloths production, sweet production);
– To develop the needed training materials;
– To offer technical coaching after the training, in order to ensure that the technical skills acquired by the beneficiaries are put into practice;
– To assess market needs and develop specific trainings accordingly (ex. To produce products that are not available on the market);
– Coordinate with UPP staff and write training reports

Un Ponte Per (UPP) is an Italian non-governmental organization (NGO) operating in northern Syria since 2015. UPP is currently working on early recovery and livelihood activities aimed to support the creation of new livelihood opportunities and the restoration of livelihood activities that were negatively affected by the conflict.
The project aims to support existing women’s cooperatives engaged in small and micro businesses with the provision of business development and management trainings, marketing trainings, entrepreneurial skills trainings, as well as through the provision of small grants and mentorship, integrated if needed with technical trainings. At the same time, the projects aims at supporting the creation of new small businesses, supporting the elaboration of a business plan, the provision of business and marketing trainings and the mentorship of the newly created businesses.
Objective
UPP seeks to create a roster of trainers to be potentially involved in project activities if and when required. UPP does not commit to finalize the selection process with the employment of one or more candidates, but suitable profiles might be contacted in any opportunity arises. The pre-selected CV will be kept in the roster for a period of 12 months. Also, the type of contract offered could change according to project’s needs (consultancy, part-time employment, full time employment, etc.). Responsibilities of the position:
– To offer trainings to beneficiaries on business development and management, business skills, marketing mix, financial management, etc. The trainings should be adequate to the context, relevant for the target businesses and as practical as possible;
– Develop the needed training materials;
– Offer business mentorship and coaching after the training, in order to ensure that the training contents are put into practice to improve the business and increase incomes.
– Coordinate with UPP staff and write high quality training reports.
