Job Requirements:

  1. University degree in a relevant domain.
  2. -High Experience from working as in a humanitarian/recovery context Previous experience -from working in complex and volatile contexts
  3. -Documented results related to the position’s responsibilities Fluency in English
  4. -Context related skills, knowledge and experience (shall be adapted to the specific position)
  5. Good experience in using GPS, Good knowledge of NE-Syria context, maps, roads and cultures.
  6. -High knowledge on the context of the Syrian crisis
  7. Personal Qualities:
  8. Handling insecure environments Analyzing
  9. Empowering and building trust Planning and delivering result
  10. At least 3 years of professional experience in organization

Job Description:

  1. Gather and receive information through community-based testimonies.
  2. Gather and receive information provided by direct statements from individuals representative of those affected by the conflict and illustrative of aspects of the community accounts.
  3. Compile, receive and analyze information as well as conduct research on the psycho-social and gendered impact of the conflict, and the impact of the conflict on the economy and education.
  4. Collect from any party information and data deemed useful to the achievement of the object of the Commission.
  5. Prepare and submit a report of its findings to the authorities and the public.
  6. Protect the integrity and wellbeing of victims and witnesses.
  7. To recommend and promote specific measures for positive social transformation in North East Syria, including measures to preserve the memory of the victims and to foster a culture of peace, mutual respect and observance of rights.
  8. To prepare a report with an objective, impartial and authoritative account of the facts and circumstances surrounding the conflict in North East Syria, and the nature of their impact in terms of suffering and abuses for the local population.
