Job Requirements:
- Six months experience in a similar position
- Demonstrated good writing and editing skills in Arabic.
- Good presentation and commination skills.
- College degree or equivalent work experience.
- Experience using mobile-based data collection tools (kobo, ODK)
- Experience in working with NGOs.
- Experience in working on gender, VAW related issues
Job Description:
- Explain the objectives of the data collection process and their procedures for the targeted community members who are to be interviewed.
- Use the local language to explain the interview questions to assist people in understanding them and providing eloquent answers.
- Support the people filling out the forms and explain to them each section of the form.
- Cross-checking the data provided by the people to ensure accurate information gathering.
- Coordinate, and regular visits to the relevant community leaders/ local council to ensure that they provide support and facilitate the process.
- Support the project coordinator in developing a work plan (daily and weekly) for the project’s research phase activities.
- Ensure understanding of the program on the GBVIM and Protection IM systems and data protection protocols.
- Ensure data is collected correctly and in a timely manner.
- Identify problems associated with data collection, comprehensiveness and data quality and propose solutions to overcome them.
JOB SUMMARY
The Temporary Worker/ VAWG Enumerators will join our team and conduct in-person interviews and group discussions with citizens to collect information about the location and local communities. The enumerator’s responsibilities include talking with citizens at their homes, asking questions about an individual’s demographic and economic status, community perceptions, and behaviors and submitting data to help build a comprehensive understanding of the context, working with a small group of people to ensure local communities are represented in data collection.
