- Effective skills in coordination, organization and prioritization

- Excellent English and Arabic (Kurdish desirable)

Job Description:
CONTEXT MONITORING AND ANALYSIS
- Daily monitoring and reporting of contextual developments in NES impacting the humanitarian response
- Compilation of context monitoring updates to the NES Forum Weekly Operational and Policy Updates
- Identify areas for longer-erm research and oversee the longer-term research efforts of the Liaison Team
- Monitoring and response to access constraints reported by members in coordination with advocacy/access coordinator and NES Forum Director
LOCAL AUTHORITY ENGAGEMENT
- Engaging with local authorities on administrative and access dynamics and impediments affecting NGOs
- Building relationships with local authorities and maintaining an updated NES stakeholder mapping
- Regula information sharing with local authorities on matter s affecting NGO operations.
LOCAL NGO ENGAGEMENT
- Lead on the coordinating the Local Partner Working Group (LPWG) via monthly meetings and informationl sharing through the related communication channels
- Build and maintain relationships with LNGO representatives across other LNGO platforms in NES with a view to supporting their capacities
- Engage with relevant global stakeholders who work on localization to exploire opportunities for localisation in NES
- Maintain an updated mapping of LNGOs and their capacity building needs
- Facilitate linkages with sector coordinators and LNGOs for participating in working groups
MANAGEMENT:
Overseeing the workstreams of thenNES Forum Liaison Team, comprising the NES Forum Liaison Officer for Hassakeh and NES Forum Liaison Officer for Deir ez Zor
GENERAL:
- Any other relevant tasks as requested by the NES Forum Advocacy and Access Coordinator, and NES Forum Director
Supervisory Responsibility
Supervises two Liaison Officers in the West and East of NES.
Accountability
Reports Directly To: NES Adovcacy and Access Coordinator
Works Directly With: Liaison Officer in the West and East, NES Forum Director, NES Forum IM team, NES Forum Inter Sector Coordinator
