Job Requirements:
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS: Education: •High school degree
Experience:
- Proven work experience as a security guard or relevant position Skills/Competencies:
- Ability to operate detecting systems and emergency equipment
- Excellent knowledge of public safety and security procedures/protocols
- Surveillance skills and detail orientation
- Integrity and professionalism Commitment:

Job Function/ Description:
- Protect organization’s property and staff by maintaining a safe and secure environment
- In the event that no Blumont personnel are present, to ensure that the Camp/office and compound remain secure against theft or damage and that persons who are not authorized do not enter the compound and /or remove any items.
- Observe for signs of crime or disorder and investigate disturbances
- Act lawfully in direct defense of life or property
- Apprehend criminals and evict violators
- Take accurate notes of unusual occurrences
- Report in detail any suspicious incidents
- Patrol randomly or regularly building and perimeter, Inspect lights, locks, doors, windows
- Monitor and control access at building entrances and vehicle gates to ensure unauthorized personnel are not permitted to enter Blumont building or compounds.
- Perform first aid or CPR
- Inspect any vehicles parked in compound, only authorized vehicles are parked in and near Blumont facility
- Review shift book with previous shift
- Control access by visitors
o Ask for name, organization and purpose of visit
o Check identification
o Verify appointment
o Clear/do not clear visitor
o Inspect handbags
o Register information in Visitors Logbook
o Escort visitor to Reception
- Monitor CCTV and physical check on Safety & Security Equipment’s
- Any other duties and responsibilities as may be reasonably requested by the immediate supervisor.
