QUALIFICATIONS:
– Technical institute certificate or Secondary school degree as minimum with good experience in technical maintenance works.
EXPERIENCE and SKILLS:
– At least one year of work experience in this field Preferably in WASH /Shelter maintenance.
– Ability to handle heavy equipment and machinery used during maintenance activities
– Have high standards of ethics and integrity.
– Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills

الوصف الوظيفي:
ROLE PURPOSE:
The role of the Site Technician is to ensure that several tasks are carried out at Tabqa collective center and Tabqa Office regarding maintenance WASH/shelter facilities and ensure keeping them functional in proper way for IDPs living in the collective centers in Tabqa, and to assist the Site Engineer and field assistance with the efficient and effective running and maintain of the site facilities and infrastructures.
KEY AREAS OF ACCOUNTABLITY:
– Responsible to identify the collective centers public service shortages and recommend solutions.
– Responsible for maintenance of the equipment, basic repairs, and replacements in the collective centers and Tabqa office including (door, fence, kitchen, latrines, plumbing, water pumps…etc.)
– Responsible for maintaining and repairing any damages in the electrical network and points within collective centers including maintenance for electrical boards, repair and maintenance of the electrical Feeders, main electrical cables, and the internal lines feeding tents and kitchen as well as any shortage inside tents, kitchen, and caravans
– Perform and document routine inspection of any maintenance activities.
– Adjust and minor repairs as per site eng instructions such as doors and windows maintenance, minor electric installations and maintenance, lumping, ..etc.)
– Stock and maintain safety of maintenance tools and items.
– Support the rest of the staff to achieve their duties when needed.
– Follow all health and safety regulation through wearing helmet, safety boot, and industrial gloves during maintenance work. Abide Safety measurements as per security team’s recommendation.
– Any other task as reasonably asked by supervisor
ADDITIONAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
– Assist the team during the distributions related to WASH and Shelter, like installing diesel heaters for PWSNs and disabilities provided by Blumont, PPE distributions and replace fire extinguishers.
– Report/Inform the site engineer/field assistant of any challenges occurs during the daily implementation of the maintenance.
– Daily records and tracking maintenance items, installed, exported from Warehouses and report it to supervisor.
– Report any maintenance or technical issues to supervisor on time.
