Profile required:
Personal and technical abilities:
o Minimum 1-year work experience with INGO is an asset.
o Previous experience in conducting hygiene awareness session is mandatory.
o Knowledge/Experience in Informal Settlement and/or schools would be a plus.
Personal abilities:
- Rigorous, organized, trustful
- Autonomous
- Arabic (Read-Write-Speak) is mandatory
- Strong negotiations and communication skills
Job Description:
The worker will carry out tasks assigned by his/her line manager, in accordance with instructions given and the established schedule.
TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Implementation
- Complete tasks according to instructions given by the Hygiene Promotion Officer
- Complete tasks according to deadlines or schedules given by the Hygiene Promotion Officer
- Observe site safety rules
- Ensure that Solidarités International’s quality standards are observed in all tasks
- Participate in the training of community workers in his/her field of expertise
- Ensure the correct use and maintenance of his/her work tools
Reporting/Communication
- If needed, fill out a consumption follow-up sheet during related to its activities
- Report to the foreman or team leader on the progress of specific assigned tasks, on any problems encountered, and on the quality of relationships with beneficiaries
- Report any problems or delays to the Hygiene Promotion Officer and suggest any possible solutions
- Pass on any information relating to safety issues
- Attend internal Solidarités International meetings as required
