Job Requirements:
Diploma or University degree in relevant field.
EXPERIENCE and SKILLS:
Minimum 1 year of experience in Finance field within an International NGO or similar association will be preferable
Ability to write and speak in English
Microsoft Office software and computer literate
Ability to work under pressure
Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills
Ability to maintain to strict confidentiality and keep safe personal file.
Other Considerations:

Job Description:
The daily finance Assistant will be responsible for receiving supporting documents for redeeming food vouchers and recording in detailed spreadsheet.
The role reports to Finance officer.
Team member reporting to this post: N/A
In the event of a major humanitarian emergency, the role holder will be expected to work outside the normal role profile and be able to vary working hours accordingly.
KEY AREAS OF ACCOUNTABLITY:
- Compiles and sort documents, such as invoices and checks substantiating financial transactions. Maintains records through filling, retrieval, retention, storage, compilation, coding, updating, and purging.
- Operates computer to enter data into spreadsheet and/or database.
- Operates office equipment such as photocopier, scanner, and calculator.
- Implements financial policies and procedures.
- Makes timely disbursement of cash for casual staff salary payments.
- Works closely with finance officer to ensure smooth operation of all finance matters.
- Assists with the annual audit.
- Replaces finance officer when needed.
- Reviews work papers of payments for making payment by cash custodian.
- Collaborates in activity of Food vouchers (Checking documents, arranging for Payment, archiving, arranging post to main office).
- Archiving Finance Documents & preparing post of hard copies of payments to Erbil office.
- Work in a team-based environment and achieve common goals.
- Other responsibilities as assigned by supervisor.
ADDITIONAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Cover for Hasaka office or other location’s finance person during the absence of the individual based on supervisor’s approval
- Available to travel to Camps and other work sites to making payments.
- Could replace any staff of Finance team of food vouchers in urgent cases
- Any other reasonably duty as assigned by supervisor
