Job Requirements:

QUALIFICATIONS:

       University or institute degree, preferably in economic and Accounting, organizational behavior or related fields.

EXPERIENCE and SKILLS

       Minimum 6 months experience in supply chain, logistics fields.

       Good knowledge of computers and office software packages (MS Word, Excel).

       Acceptable skills in reading, writing, and understanding in English language.

       Good communication skills including ability to gain trust and build relationships with new Communities/sectors or vendors.

       Problem-solving abilities.

Job Description:

The daily supply chain assistant will be responsible to support the supply chain unit in Tabqqa office on logistics processes in terms of documentation flow, printing, scanning, and covering the absence of the staff over there. The role holder must maintain the integrity, honesty, transparency and confidentiality of Blumont documents, information and data.

The role reports to Supply Chain Assistant

Team member reporting to this post: N/A

In the event of a major humanitarian emergency, the role holder will be expected to work outside the normal role profile and be able to vary working hours accordingly.

KEY AREAS OF ACCOUNTABLITY

       Support the payment process by reviewing, printing, scanning documents at payments stage according to process check list (from A-Z).

       Track small monthly PRs (Purchase Requests) in collaboration with the supervisor.

       Follow up the redemption process of SFVs (Supplementary food vouchers).

       Follow up the redemption of SFVs (Supplementary food vouchers).

       Support the supply chain, program and M&E committees on SFVs (Supplementary food vouchers) rounds as appropriate as possible.

       Support the supply chain assistant on submitting the due monthly payments and Accruals for all activities.

       Track monthly GRNs (Good received notes) and CoWs (completion of works) and keep maintain the supervisor review and checks.

       Support on the Fleet management and daily movement plan for all units of the team.

       Support on the regular vehicle’s inspections

       Receiving and dispatching items /goods upon the plan of the supervisor.

       Any other related task assigned by the supervisor.

ADDITIONAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

       Participation in market assessments required for program and supply chain.

       Support on following up bakeries and bread transportation.

       Support on following up transportation of flour & yeast to the bakeries.

       Support on following up the redemption process of SFVs.
