Job Requirements:

Education:

– Bachelor’s degree in IT Engineering or equivalent.

– Certificate in Asset Management – preferred

– Certificate in CCNA routing and switching – preferred

Experience and Skills:

– Minimum 2 years of experience in the related field.

– Highly motivated individual who works well independently.

– Fluency in English and Arabic languages.

– Very social and highly motivated who seeks to help everyone in need.

– Excellent interpersonal skills.

– Quickly learn and master new subjects and technologies.

– Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and concisely both orally and in writing, with excellent customer service skills.

– Demonstrated understanding of networking and system administration principles of Active Directory, and modern Windows environments.

– Advanced problem-solving techniques, multi-tasking, time management, and the ability to handle work under pressure.

– Ability to arrange, categorize, keep, and analyze data and information.

Job Description:

The IT Officer manages computer networks for all business types, providing technical assistance and ensuring the operation runs smoothly. IT Support is in charge of monitoring and maintaining the company’s computer systems, as well as installing, configuring, and resolving any technical issues that may occur. The nature of the position requires it.

– The inventory officer’s material management responsibilities include the procurement and distribution of materials, products, items, and other objects. This position is responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of staff involved in inventory management to ensure optimal inventory levels and compliance with quality standards. Additionally, he or she is responsible for tracking inventory data and guaranteeing its accuracy.

– The role reports to IT/Inventory Officer in Erbil office.

– Staff reporting to this post: Sinor Program Manager.

Because of the nature of the IT department in humanitarian organizations, the IT officer may be needed to work outside of normal business hours or be on call most of the time.

 KEY AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY

– Installing and configuring operating systems and programs on computer hardware, such as servers, windows servers, active directory, Qnap(NAS) storage systems, and many other windows and computer systems.

– Installing, configuring, and troubleshooting network systems, network problems, network switches, cabling, network wi-fi, IP phones, and security cameras, as well as detecting and resolving hardware and software problems.

– Managing and tracking a shared drive, a backup system, SharePoint and OneDrive.

– Configuring and Supporting employees by resolving any IT issues such as a printer, scanner, Wi-Fi, and any other computer software and hardware issues, as well as training employees about newly released software such as Microsoft teams, Microsoft Office programs, and Adobe Acrobat DC, and others. Creating digital signatures and preparing forms in Adobe Acrobat DC, as well as organizing online meetings and events in Microsoft Teams

– Travel among offices and camps due to the task as required.

– Test and evaluate new technologies.

– Replace parts as required.

– Assist HR team in resolving fingerprint device issues.

– Provide BOQ and market availability for the most related new IT equipment purchases.

– Responsible for entering all newly received assets into the database.

– Physical check and semiannual update of the information for all assets recorded in the database.

– Create reports for all locations and projects in accordance with report requirements.

– Reporting of the project close-out procedure.

– Configuring and tracking firewalls in all offices and camps.
