Job Requirements:

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in social sciences, education, public or business administration or equivalent
  • 1-2 years experience in community development, community mobilization & project and financial management
  • Previous experience in drafting budgets and reports
  • Strong ability to work independently, organize work, meet deadlines, maintain composure, prioritize work under pressure, coordinate multiple tasks and maintain attention to detail
  • Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills, creativity, and flexibility
  • Good English and Arabic required

Working Environment ,

The CFW Officer will supervise staff in the field and Ar-Raqqa office, and would be based 50% in Al Raqqa office, 50 % travel to CFW field,

Job Description:

  • Consult with local authorities, beneficiaries, communities (and potentially other NGOs) to identify in a participatory manner the most appropriate and needed cash for work projects
  • Work closely with Community Cash Transfer Committees (CCTCs), local government, business owners and CBOs to identify, design and carry out CFW projects
  • Coordinate with protection teams to ensure Cash Transfer Committees (CTCs) are properly trained to select beneficiaries and CFW projects and sites.
  • Facilitate cash for work projects by identifying potential partners and/or service contractors as relevant
  • Develop budgets and workplans for project implementation
  • With support from the Cash Manager and ERD Coordinator draft the cash-for-work Standard Operating Procedures
  • Support the development of monitoring tools and resources related to cash for work
  • Lead and oversee all procurement Ensure that accurate information is submitted to Supply Chain department for the timely procurement of raw materials and equipment for cash for work schemes
  • Ensure that beneficiary targets are met, within project deadlines
  • Support the adaptation of cash for work projects based on beneficiary and monitoring feedback as needed
