متطلبات العمل:
Essential
University degree in civil engineering, hydraulics, mechanics, chemics, or related field;
Previous experience in WASH engineering works (water quality, water networks and stations, mechanical works, etc…);
Good knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
Familiarity with Sphere standards, especially the ones related with WASH;
Ability to visit (on a daily basis) different project sites, in different districts;
Excellent interpersonal and nonviolent communication skills;
Commitment to humanitarian principles and values;
Commitment to equal opportunity and gender practices;
Flexibility under pressure and in response to changing needs;
Ability to maintain the highest degree of discretion;
Basic written and spoken English skills are essential.
Desirable
Former NGO work experience is highly desired.
الوصف الوظيفي:
Water trucking supervision:
Supervise the distribution of water trucking quantity and quality to the IDPs and host communities in and out of camps.
Prepare the daily attendance record and the quantity of water supplied by the supplier
Make sure to provide the camp with the required quantity of water per day and make sure the condition and readiness of water tanks and their accessories
Conduct the chlorination of the drinking water through chlorine tablets or powder.
Ensure that the supplier providing the water from the trusted source that it has agreed on them.
Periodic visits to the water source and reports to our organisation
Conduct water testing (FRC, PH, NTU, etc.) on a daily and weekly basis as per the agreed water quality plan.
Supervision and support of water quality activities
Carry out water testing to randomly selected water collection points to check the level of free chlorine, if it is at acceptable range and advise Senior WASH Technician if an adjustment is necessary in case of lower or higher levels
Support the WASH assistant to track health centres water-borne diseases reported cases, check the presence of free chlorine and conduct bacteriological water analysis when there is no free chlorine.
Conduct bacteriological, chemical and physical analysis of water from all sources in the programme area to see if there is likely contamination.
Ensure acceptable standards are followed regarding Laboratory regulations.
Prepare water quality reports and update water quality data records.
Undertake other duties as may be reasonably requested by the WASH Assisstant and Officer
Participate in chlorine tablets distributions in villages/informal settlements and the related awareness-raising campaign about the need to chlorinate water and the dangers of untreated waters
Promote and ensure compliance with the requirements of Programme Participants Protection Policy and accountability commitments to ensure maximum protection to Programme beneficiaries across the programmes.
Supervision of the WASH rehabilitation (when required)
Supervise the works related to construction, repair and maintenance of WASH facilities such as non-functional taps, latrines clogging, and any other plumbing works related to the facilities.
Raising a weekly report for the maintenance/construction works.
Ensure technical quality of works
Reporting to WASH assistant on all related WASH facilities.
Others
Coordination with the camp management and other partners for all maintenance, cleaning and water trucking issues .
